Musician Hoang Hiep said during his lifetime that the song was staged and performed for the first time in 1965 by a female troupe of the Central Music and Dance Theater, then traveled to several European countries and was recorded on CD in France...
But a few years later, the song was performed creatively by singer Tuong Vi, raising it to a new level, living forever in the hearts of listeners until now.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , musician Hoang Lan, a colleague of artist Tuong Vi, said that in this song, she "added a staccato technique to imitate the sound of birds chirping very well and skillfully, not everyone can do it.
This staccato section was so excellent that later singers, when performing "The Girl Sharpening Spikes ", had to imitate it.
