Many generations live together, but Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien's family (Tan Huong village, Huong Tra commune, Huong Khe district) is always disciplined and harmonious because the grandparents and parents are always exemplary, the children are polite and filial; the members love each other, share work, and work together to build happiness. The family's model of growing tea, fruit trees, seedling nurseries, and raising chickens and pigs earns an income of 300-400 million VND/year, creating jobs for dozens of workers.

Not only taking care of building a family, being an active member of the "5-have family - Model new rural area" club in Tan Huong village, Ms. Hien is present in all activities. She is the one who connects the club members in activities, from arranging the house, sharing knowledge on health care, economic development to arranging family gardens, launching environmental sanitation campaigns, fundraising, calling for help for those in difficult circumstances and organizing cultural and artistic activities. Thereby, she has contributed to implementing the elements to build a 5-have family in the members: having a safe house, having a sustainable livelihood, having health, having knowledge, having a cultural lifestyle.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien's family was honored to be commended by the Provincial Women's Union for implementing the model of the "5-have Family - Model New Rural Area" Club in 2023.
In October 2022, the Women's Union of Tan Huong village launched the "5-have Family - Model New Rural Area" Club with 100 members helping each other build happy families and build sustainable livelihood models. With many diverse activities, the Club has promoted the women's movement, actively contributing to maintaining the criteria of a model new rural commune and a model new rural residential area. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, President of the Women's Union of Huong Tra commune, Huong Khe district, said: "Participating in the activities of the Club, people are aware of the practical meaning and increasing requirements of the criteria, thereby promoting the role of themselves and family members as well as each person towards the goal of building a sustainable advanced new rural area".
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tam's new, spacious house.
This rainy season, the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tam (Ky Son village, Thach Dai commune, Thach Ha district) is very excited because they can live in a spacious and comfortable house. Nearly 100 working days of women's union members, branches, and inter-family groups were mobilized to fill the soil, helping the family arrange furniture and construction works. The Women's Union of Thach Dai commune also supported 5 million VND from the "Charity Fund" contributed by members to give the family a livelihood model of 50 breeding chickens.

Ms. Tam said: “With the spiritual and material encouragement of the Party Committee, the government, the women members, the neighbors, and the efforts of my family, we have a new house. Being trusted by the women to become the Vice Chairman of the Club “Family of 5 Has - Model New Rural Areas” has helped me to be bold and confident in integrating, learning production experience, and maintaining the effectiveness of the livelihood model.”
The women's association always accompanies Mrs. Tam's family to overcome difficulties.
In recent times, in addition to the contributions of women's union members of Thach Dai commune, Thach Ha district has mobilized and joined hands with political and social organizations to support 14 livelihood models, building 36 houses for members in difficult circumstances and near-poor. Up to now, the whole commune has launched 3 "Family 5 has - Model New Rural Area" clubs with 108 members.
Aiming to build Ha Tinh into a province that meets NTM standards, in the 2021-2025 period, the whole province continues to mobilize the participation of the entire political system to implement many creative and specific solutions and methods, arousing and promoting the role of the main subject of typical family "nuclei".
Accordingly, support and companionship policies have been implemented with the approach of "raising the head", "supporting the end", building and replicating typical examples through women's movements competing to build "Clean houses, beautiful gardens, joining hands to build new rural areas", building models of "5 no, 3 clean branches" associated with model residential areas, "Women's clubs participating in environmental protection", "10 adjacent households", "Green - clean - beautiful residential clusters", "Green nursery groups", "Family trash pits - using biological products", "Family 5 no, 3 clean" club, "Family 5 yes - model new rural area" club... Up to now, Ha Tinh has deployed the construction of models of "Model new rural family", "Family 5 yes - model new rural area", "Family 5 yes - civilized urban area" in 13/13 districts, cities and towns in the whole province with 118 clubs with 4,505 participating members. Of which, 6,857 households were recognized as "Model 5 Yes - New Rural Family"; 168 5 No, 3 Clean associations and 1,021 groups, teams, and clubs implemented the 5 No, 3 Clean criteria; signs were posted recognizing 5,757 families as achieving "Clean House - Beautiful Garden", "3 Clean".

Effective models initiated by women have persuaded members, union members, and people to participate, change awareness, form routines, consciousness, and responsibilities of each member, and divide labor in the family more smoothly. While men move sanitation facilities, build trellises, and compost, women hoe the land, harvest, decorate, trim flowers, take care of green fences, arrange, and clean the house... to contribute to building safe homes, creating sustainable livelihoods, and at the same time having the opportunity to access knowledge, take care of health, and preserve culture and family traditions.
Women's movements were launched throughout the province.
Ms. Truong Thi Luong - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union said: "The model of "Family of 5 has - Model New Rural Area" has contributed to creating cohesion and equal opportunities for women to share, learn knowledge and experience, support each other, arrange family life, care for and raise children, develop the economy, contribute to preserving, promoting, fostering and spreading the good traditional values of the family. In order for the model to continue to be effective and meaningful, the Women's Union at all levels continues to coordinate, proactively promote propaganda activities, praise, honor and spread typical family factors, socialize and mobilize resources to support disadvantaged families in implementing the criteria of "Family of 5 has - Model New Rural Area" towards the goal of "strong villages, strong communes" for comprehensive and sustainable New Rural Area".
Ms. Truong Thi Luong, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, discussed the activities of the "Family of 5 Haves - Model New Rural Area" Club model.
In the coming time, to have more "Families with 5 Haves - Model New Rural Areas", localities will continue to update the new requirements of the criteria as well as persist in the viewpoint of building New Rural Areas without stopping points, only starting points, no ending points.
