Proposal to establish a working group
At the working session, the delegation listened to the district's report on the situation, proposals and recommendations related to the work of arranging administrative units (ADUs) at the district level.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Chairman of Nong Son District People's Committee said that, regarding the implementation of the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels, up to now, Nong Son district has completed the tasks, completed the documents and reported to the competent authorities.
Party committees at all levels always focus on directing the implementation of Party building and a strong political system; paying attention to monitoring and grasping the ideological situation, public opinion and life of cadres, party members and people in the district, especially the policy of merging districts and communes. In 9 months, the district admitted 19 new party members, reaching 63.3% of the assigned target.
In the first 9 months of the year, Nong Son's food output is estimated at 13,965.8 tons (up 1.6% compared to 2023). The whole district has 5/6 communes meeting new rural standards. The value of industrial and construction production is estimated at more than 747 billion VND, reaching 72.9% of the annual plan (up 11.8% over the same period). The production value of the trade and service sector is estimated at 453.3 billion VND, reaching 70.07% of the annual plan (up 12.2% over the same period). State budget revenue in the first 9 months of the year was 58.9 billion VND (reaching 77.8% of the plan assigned by the province). As of September 15, disbursement and settlement have reached 23.3% of the plan.
Nong Son district leaders made many proposals and recommendations related to the fields of economy, culture - society, and internal affairs. Regarding the work of arranging administrative units, Mr. Quang Van Ngoc - Secretary of Nong Son District Party Committee admitted that there were thoughts and concerns arising among cadres and party members, especially those holding positions. Therefore, he hoped that the province would pay attention to arranging, mobilizing, and reasonably assigning district cadres to work at agencies, units, and localities in the province.
In addition, Mr. Ngoc proposed that the province pay attention and arrange a working group after the district merger located in Nong Son district to focus on solving people's concerns related to administrative procedures, document and file editing...
Implement a "reasonable and logical" merger plan
At the meeting, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Department of Finance spoke and explained some recommendations of the district.
Concluding the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the Standing Committee of Nong Son District Party Committee in leading the implementation of tasks, especially the work of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels.
Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also shared the concerns of Nong Son district officials, and at the same time requested the Standing Committee of Nong Son District Party Committee to continue reviewing and implementing the "most reasonable and appropriate" plan to merge administrative units.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to respond in writing to the recommendations of Nong Son district at the meeting. The Department of Home Affairs studied the district's recommendation to establish a working group in Nong Son after the district merger to support the people.
