Spend millions to learn how to sell online
According to the data analysis table on the Tiktok platform, in June and July, Ms. Huyen's store's revenue fluctuated between 78-105 million VND. After 2 months of pursuing the livestream course, the revenue doubled, making Ms. Huyen even more confident that the money and effort spent on livestreaming courses were not in vain.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan (champion of Vietnam Livestream Idol 2022) has been teaching livestream to more than 500 students. Tan said that each course costs 6 million VND, including 8 sessions, an average of 3 hours/session.
According to training experts, livestreaming is a skill that needs to be taught and learned properly to maximize the benefits it brings (Photo: Character provided).
Accordingly, students will be taught knowledge from basic to advanced, theory accounts for 30% and practice is 70%.
"I teach students about product introduction skills, how to build a sales script, effective closing secrets, situation handling skills, how to attract and retain customers on livestream, etc. They also get to correct pronunciation mistakes, practice mouth shape, breathing and how to use words when on air," said Mr. Tan.
The training manager shared that the target audience of the course is social media influencers, business people or business owners. The general goal of the student groups is how to sell effectively.
For output commitment, the center has a "lifetime warranty" package, which means that after the course, if the livestream process still has problems, Tan will continue to provide free consultation and guidance.

Minh Tan shared that the number of students registering for training courses in 2023 tends to increase compared to the same period last year.
"In 2022, I opened a course every 2-3 months. But now I have to have a new course every month to meet the needs of a large number of students," he confided.
Ms. Huong Le, CEO of Big Idea Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, is also training livestream skills for dozens to hundreds of students per class.
Accordingly, learners must also meet certain requirements such as having their own sales channel. In addition, learners must meet requirements regarding time, health, and always maintain energy because the average time for livestreaming usually lasts about 1-2 hours, even more than 4 hours.
Unlike other training courses with high tuition fees, Ms. Huong teaches completely free of charge to students who become distributors of the company's cosmetics.

Huge revenue
The female director said that livestream has been a popular sales tool for a long time. However, it was only when the number of Tiktok users increased sharply that this tool really exploded when the platform added online shopping services. According to Ms. Huong, it is predicted that in the next 3-5 years, livestream will continue to develop and play a very important role in business.
"Previously, when selling on Facebook, businesses only needed to post product pictures to sell. But on Tiktok, it's different. This social network prioritizes stores that can livestream because of the high demand for entertainment.
Because when marketing on live broadcast, sellers will push customers' emotions, making followers make purchasing decisions easily and immediately," Ms. Huong analyzed.

The person who conducts livestreams is not simply marketing the goods. The chosen person must have many well-trained skills. Each livestream must also be scripted very carefully, with the coordination of a team of many people.
Mr. Minh Tan pointed out that in China, livestreaming is becoming a real "real battlefield" for online business people.
Li Jiaqi is known as the "king of livestreaming" in China. In 2020, he earned 10 billion yuan (about 35,000 billion VND) for 12 hours of continuous livestreaming.
According to statistics, in 2020, Vietnam had about 2.5 million livestream sales sessions per month, 70,000-80,000 sessions per day, with the participation of about 50,000 product suppliers.
The majority of these livestreams took place on the Facebook social media platform. A small portion (around 2,000-3,000) took place on other digital platforms.
Not only sellers, training centers also "make a fortune" thanks to the livestream sales trend (Photo: Character provided).
According to statistics from the e-commerce platform Metric, in November 2022 alone, sales on Tiktok Shop (a store on the Tiktok platform) reached 1,698 billion VND, with 13 million products sold and 32,000 units generating orders.
"Livestreaming is what saved businesses during the economic crisis. This is a form of sales that saves a lot of costs, optimizes reliability, and reaches a huge number of customers on social networking sites and e-commerce platforms," the character said.
