On July 3, information from the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism said that the travel guide platform TripAdvisor (USA) has just announced the list of winners in the category "Best of the best things to do, voted by tourists in 2024". In which, Ninh Binh was voted by tourists in the "Top 10 most attractive experiences in 2024".

As a province with great potential for special natural landscapes and rich historical and cultural heritage, Ninh Binh attracts the attention of many domestic and foreign tourists. According to statistics from the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, in the first 6 months of 2024, the number of visitors to tourist attractions in the province is estimated at over 6.28 million, an increase of 38.47% over the same period last year, reaching 83.76% of the 2024 plan. The number of visitors to accommodation establishments is estimated at over 1.18 million, nearly 1.8 times higher. Tourism revenue in the first 6 months is estimated at over VND 5,930 billion, more than 1.5 times higher than the same period last year, reaching 71.96% of the 2024 plan.

With its unique characteristics and potential in terms of nature - culture - history, Ninh Binh province has determined its socio-economic development strategy as "taking the preservation and promotion of the value of cultural - historical heritage, the fine traditions of the people, the land of the ancient capital, and the outstanding value of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Trang An as a resource and driving force for development".
