Implementing Decree No. 75/2024/ND-CP of the Government on adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances, from July 5, Ninh Binh Provincial Social Insurance has focused on implementing payment work so that beneficiaries can receive benefits as quickly and promptly as possible.
In July, the provincial Social Insurance paid 321 billion VND to nearly 60,000 pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries, of which 9,649 received benefits via the ATM system with over 66 billion VND; 49,967 received cash payments with over 254 billion VND. The total additional payment amount due to pension adjustment according to Decree 75/2024/ND-CP in the province is over 43 billion VND.
Previously, on June 29, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Resolution of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. One of the notable contents of the Resolution is the agreement to increase pensions and social insurance benefits by 15% from July 1, 2024. This is good news for millions of people across the country.
According to the Resolution, from July 1, 2024, the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2024 will be adjusted up by 15%. The scope of application is wide, including pensioners from compulsory social insurance participation (public and private sectors) and voluntary social insurance participants. At the same time, for pensioners before 1995, after adjustment, if the benefit level is lower than 3.2 million VND/month, the adjustment will increase by 0.3 million VND/month, if the benefit level is from 3.2 million VND/month to less than 3.5 million VND/month, the adjustment will be equal to 3.5 million VND/month.
In Ninh Binh, the provincial Social Insurance has focused on ensuring funding, human resources, information technology infrastructure, etc., ensuring timely and full payment of beneficiaries' benefits from July 5 (including those receiving cash and those receiving benefits through personal accounts).
In addition, the provincial Social Insurance also strengthens inspection and supervision of the payment process for beneficiaries; coordinates, resolves, and thoroughly handles arising situations, promptly reflects problems in the organization and implementation process. Actively coordinates with relevant agencies to strengthen propaganda and dissemination to beneficiaries about benefits according to the new benefit levels and payment schedules so that people can proactively grasp the information.
