The success of "Vietnam Dance Week 2023" in the Southern region has officially ended after a vibrant and colorful week of dance art. The event had the participation of nearly 200 artists, actors, and dancing talents in many categories, of many ages, from the provinces of Dong Nai, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Dak Nong and Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Jury, "Vietnam Dance Week 2023 Southern Region" has a rich variety of competition categories with works that are carefully and elaborately staged, have diverse content, and humanistic themes.

"Vietnam Dance Week 2023 Southern region" has featured many contestants who are outstanding in technique and expressive ability such as: Nguyen Duc Huu with the work "Eight words have" (choreographer: Dajay); Do Hoang Khang Ninh with the work "Verses" (choreographer: Robert Bondara)...
Some works are constructed with a tight structure, clearly depicting ideas and having high symbolic and humanistic values, clearly expressing identity, honoring regional cultural values, including: the work "Khia sua" - choreographed by Sung A Lung; the work "Blowing the soul of Ghi nang drum beat" - choreographed by Le Thi Yen Phi.
However, there are some works that do not adhere to the competition criteria, the choreographers create works with unclear content, still leaning towards modern language or the proportion of ethnic folk dance language is too small.
The highlight of "Dance Week 2023 in the Southern region" is in the category "Dance performance festival" with the appearance of groups and dance troupes of good quality and very elaborate investment, notably the groups Mania Family and Huynh Huy Academy.
Just like the "leader" of Mania Family, the head of Huynh Huy Academy was a former student and dance instructor of Ho Chi Minh City Dance College, after which Huy went to study in Guangxi, China. With a lot of experience and after many years of dedication to professional organizations such as the Lotus Song and Dance Troupe, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City Dance College, Huynh Huy has his own orientation and personality for his career development path.
Ancient Dance is a strength and also part of Huynh Huy's strategy to survive in the vibrant cultural and artistic market in the city considered one of the major cultural centers of the country.
