On November 8, 1945, when the French colonialists came to Tay Ninh, despite their primitive weapons, the people of Trang Bang were determined to rise up and fight off the invaders. Occasionally, he and his friends visited the Rong Forest Revolutionary Youth Oath Relic Site. The large, ancient trees with lush foliage were witnesses to the heroic oaths of the past.

During his days studying and settling abroad, he always felt restless and missed his maternal hometown Trang Bang and paternal hometown Ben Cau. On summer days in the remote border area, Uncle Ut took him to visit Cau Long Thuan market. The small peaceful market was about a hundred meters from the river wharf. Uncle Ut said that in the past, this place was bustling with boats and canoes. The small bridge over the Vam River allowed him to look up at the blue sky and white clouds. He also set foot in Thanh Bao Long Giang, feeling nostalgic and remembering his ancestors in the days of opening up the country.

In a rich and civilized foreign land, his children were educated and successful, but to survive he had to make many sacrifices. As an introverted and emotional person, he sometimes had to control his emotions. Far away, on winter days, the snow fell heavily, at night his rheumatism tormented him and he could not sleep, at those times his longing stirred and woke him up. The image of his grandmother lying in a creaking hammock, his mother's haggard figure in the field, the dinner she cooked with the fragrant smell of new rice, or the times he went with his friends to catch snails and crabs... how dear!
His father was a martyr who died in the war against America. His family was poor, but he studied very well, got a scholarship to go to the Soviet Union and, as required by his job, continued to stay in the friendly country to do research.
On this trip back to Vietnam, he asked a close friend to take him to visit some places in Trang Bang and Ben Cau. He could not help but be amazed by the "fresh clothes" put on the "country girl of Trang".

Perhaps the heroic drops of blood shed by our ancestors have seeped into the ground to nourish the rice and cassava plants growing straight up, making the underground water more delicious and sweet. Trang Bang is known to the world for its rice noodles and rice paper dried in the dew. Strangely enough, rice noodles are available everywhere in Vietnam, but to create the brand of Trang Bang rice noodles, it is indispensable to have the cool, fresh water and the lush green wild vegetables originating from the birthplace of Mrs. Ly Thi Thien Huong, a beautiful girl who was both talented in both literature and martial arts. Her name is given to the mountain 986m above sea level - Ba Den Mountain.

Just sitting in the cabin for about 8 minutes, you can reach the top of the mountain, freely breathing the fresh air in the gentle cold, dreaming as if you were in the land of thousands of flowers.
The car slowly drove towards An Hoa ward. He was surprised by the grandeur and scale of Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park, with a total area of 1,020 hectares, many factories, enterprises, export processing zones... in operation. In the morning, workers were bustling to work. The roads leading to the industrial park were covered with green trees, skillfully trimmed. The two rows of trees intersected to form a beautiful arc. An Phuoc Bridge connecting the two banks of the Vam Co River was opened to traffic on March 17, 2022, shortening the distance between the western communes of Trang Bang ward and An Hoa ward.
The friend who accompanied him suggested visiting the Memorial Site for the Youth Volunteers in Long Phuoc Commune, Ben Cau District. He was deeply moved when she explained to him the achievements of the Youth Volunteers such as transporting ammunition, repairing roads, and providing first aid... when participating in the southwestern border battlefield. During that fierce war, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteers lost 99 officers and members and nearly 200 people left a part of their flesh and blood in the border area of the Fatherland.
Just one day of traveling through Trang Bang and Ben Cau districts, his horizons were greatly expanded. There were so many new things, so many changes that made the child living far away from home feel overwhelmed with emotions. He secretly thought that he would try to arrange his work to bring his whole family back to visit his homeland, visit his grandparents' graves, visit his paternal and maternal hometowns, and instill in the children the pride of being a child of the Southeast region.
