The implemented transport infrastructure projects are expanding the socio-economic development space for Ha Tinh city, connecting growth poles in the central urban area of ​​the province.

Located in a strategic position, as the central urban area of ​​the province, the development orientation of Ha Tinh City by 2025 will be an urban area with synchronous, modern and smart infrastructure. Accordingly, the urban area will be expanded, breaking the "clustered" situation and replacing it with an open urban area; taking key traffic axes as the center to develop in the East-West direction, towards the sea; strengthening parallel urban strips connecting with strategic traffic routes of the province, the country and production areas. From the main axis of Ham Nghi, in 2023, Ha Tinh City completed Le Van Thiem route, parallel to National Highway 1, creating development momentum as well as forming land funds, promoting local socio-economic development.

Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street connecting with Xuan Dieu Street are key traffic routes, with the "mission" of connecting important areas from the existing urban area to the northern urban area of ​​the city (Thach Trung commune).

Xuan Dieu Street extension is under construction. This route will be connected to Ngo Quyen Street - one of the strategic routes in the development of the East - West economic corridor of Ha Tinh City. At the same time, new urban areas will be formed with functions such as commercial centers and modern utility services.

Parallel to Xuan Dieu Street is the completed extended Le Ninh Street, creating a new look and space for the northern urban area.

The Eastern Ring Road of Ha Tinh City is being implemented as one of the strategic infrastructure projects associated with the orientation of urban space development towards the sea and the project to expand the administrative boundaries of the city. The project has a total investment of 950 billion VND with a total length of 15.778 km, starting at the intersection with Provincial Road 9 at Ho Do Bridge (Thach Ha Commune), ending at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Phu Bridge (Dai Nai Ward).

The route has great significance for the city's socio-economic development, connecting with production areas to form a green belt for the city, while exploiting the riverside landscape to build riverside urban areas, ecological urban areas as well as tourism and trade potential.

Currently, the project is in phase 1 construction.

The beltway connects to Thach Dong bridge, expanding space to the East and the beaches.

Ngo Quyen Street is the economic axis connecting the East - West of Ha Tinh City. Along with the implementation of the general planning, the road now has many functional infrastructures such as hospitals, commercial and service areas and urban planning areas..., gradually forming a bustling and developing urban area in the North of Ha Tinh City.

In particular, the route connecting with two important national traffic routes, National Highway 1 and the North-South Expressway, will be a vital route, opening up new spaces, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality and fulfilling the role of a core urban area according to the provincial planning.
