Things candidates need to 'know by heart' before taking the high school graduation exam

At 2:30 p.m. tomorrow (June 20), Thanh Nien Newspaper will organize an online television consultation program with the theme "To confidently pass the high school graduation exam". Grade 12 students will take the 2023 high school graduation exam next week.

According to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, the high school graduation exam will take place on June 28 and 29. On the first day, candidates will take the literature and math exams. On the second day, in the morning, candidates will take the social science or natural science exam and in the afternoon, they will take the foreign language exam.

Sharing at the Conference on the organization of the 2023 high school graduation exam on June 15, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training), said that this year, there were a total of 1,024,063 candidates registered for the exam. Of which, 37,841 were independent candidates, accounting for 3.69% of the total number of candidates; 968,160 candidates registered online, accounting for 95%. There were 46,670 candidates registered for exemption from the foreign language exam, accounting for 4.55%.

The 2023 high school graduation exam not only marks the end of 12 years of high school but is also the basis for graduation and admission to universities and colleges.
