Participating in the Vietnam Women's Peacekeeping Unit at the Parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory, Military Region 3 selected more than 100 female soldiers, including 8 from Hai Duong. They are all officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and the Military Commands of districts, towns, and cities.
After nearly 2 months of training, going through many exercises, from individual movements to coordinated movements in a line, following the music, the female soldiers have mastered and performed quite skillfully and accurately. Everyone is impressed and proud of the uniform of the "green beret" soldiers with the two words Vietnam on the chest.
Second Lieutenant, professional soldier Pham Thuy Duong, Propaganda Department, Political Department (Provincial Military Command) said: "When I was selected to join the Vietnam Women's Peacekeeping Team, I was very happy, honored, and proud, but I also felt a great responsibility. The training time was long and the intensity was high, and there were times when I thought I could not overcome it. However, my family and relatives encouraged me, my superiors cared for me, and gave me more motivation to overcome difficulties and complete my mission well."
When she first received the assignment, Lieutenant, professional soldier Le Thi Kim Cuc, Medical Department, Logistics-Technical Department (Provincial Military Command) was quite worried. Lieutenant Cuc had to arrange her family work reasonably, leave her young child with her parents to take care of her to participate in the training. "The female soldiers all determined to put aside their personal worries and work, all for the common mission, wholeheartedly contributing their small efforts to the success of the ceremony," Lieutenant Cuc shared.
In recent days, the Military Region 3 Command and the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have always paid attention to and created favorable conditions for female soldiers to carry out their duties. The Military Command of Hai Duong province met and presented gifts to encourage soldiers participating in the parade. Colonel Ho Sy Quyen, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, said: "The parade at the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory is a very important and proud task. The Provincial Military Command requires participating officers and soldiers to promote a sense of responsibility, practice regardless of the sun or rain, strictly abide by military discipline, and be determined to successfully carry out the assigned tasks."
Up to now, female soldiers in Hai Duong have been mobilized to the National Military Training Center 4 to continue training phase II. Here, the training intensity is higher, the hot summer weather will significantly affect the psychology and health of the soldiers. Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duy Hung, an officer of the Army Officer School 1, in charge of training the female peacekeeping force of Vietnam, said: "Up to now, the female soldiers have all adapted to the weather conditions and exercises, promoted the spirit of solidarity, determination to train, and successfully completed the goals of phase II training."
With determination, upholding the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", solidarity and coordination, the female soldiers of Hai Duong always make the highest efforts to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
