At 7:30 a.m. on March 29, 2024, at the Conference and Exhibition Center Hall of Binh Duong province (Le Loi street, Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province), there will be a scientific discussion on the Project for Developing Sports in Binh Duong province to 2025, with a vision to 2030: Initial results and issues raised.
With the attention of leaders at all levels, the dynamism in management and the consensus of coaches and athletes, Binh Duong sports is currently considered a bright spot with many outstanding achievements from national to regional and world levels, contributing positively to the overall success of the country's sports. In order to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the practical process of the 3-year implementation of the Binh Duong Sports Development Project for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province organized a scientific seminar on the Binh Duong Sports Development Project for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030: Initial results and emerging issues.
The seminar was held in the last days of March, also one of the activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese sports industry on March 27. The good news for those working in Binh Duong sports is that right before this seminar, Binh Duong player Bao Phuong Vinh and his teammate Tran Quyet Chien (HCMC) had just won the World Team Carom Billiards 3-Cushion Championship in Germany, this is the first world team championship title for Vietnam.
Binh Duong Exhibition and Convention Center will be the meeting place of leading sports scientists nationwide, with the participation of 200 delegates who are scientists, managers, and prestigious experts from Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Vietnam Institute of Sports Science, Vietnam Sports Science Association, Vietnam Football Federation, Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports, Ho Chi Minh City National Sports Training Center, Can Tho City National Sports Training Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education, Hoa Sen University, Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong University; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Southeast provinces; agencies and departments of Binh Duong province and districts, towns and cities in the province; Becamex IDC Corporation, Biwase Corporation, Dai Nam Joint Stock Company, Binh Minh Plastics Company, Binh Duong Construction Materials Company, Unifarm Company... The seminar also welcomed the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Sports and Physical Training, and national sports associations/federations.
The Seminar received the attention, response and support of scientists, managers, prestigious experts in the field of physical education and sports and related fields inside and outside the province. The Organizing Committee received many good presentations with new approaches, many innovative solutions to contribute to Binh Duong physical education and sports in the new development stage, with many rich groups of topics such as: Group of topics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; Group of topics on mechanisms and policies; Group of topics on developing physical education and sports for everyone; Group of topics on developing high-performance sports; Group of topics on socializing physical education and sports; Group of topics on applying science and technology, information technology;...
Up to now, all preparations for the Seminar have been basically completed. Binh Duong province expects and believes that through this seminar, the locality will receive comments, recommendations, and quality solutions with orientation and suggestion from scientists and managers. From there, it will be the basis for research, adjustment, and supplementation of the Project in a suitable manner, updating tasks and solutions to implement the project in the next phase with more quality and efficiency, bringing Binh Duong sports to new heights, continuing to contribute positively to the overall success of the country's sports.
