On December 10, the Emulation Cluster of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City's districts held a conference to summarize the emulation movement in 2024.
According to the report, in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts proactively implemented annual programs and plans associated with the political tasks of each locality. Units mobilized people of all walks of life to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws; organized people of all walks of life to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by all levels to celebrate major holidays and welcome the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term.
The supervision and criticism activities of the Front and its member organizations have been strengthened, grassroots democracy has been promoted, creating changes in the awareness of cadres and people. The content and methods of operation have been innovated; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at communes, towns and districts have been successfully organized, creating a widespread political movement among the masses.
Besides the achieved results, the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees in the districts still have some shortcomings. The work of grasping public opinion, thoughts and aspirations of the people is not timely. The work of propagating and mobilizing people in site clearance for key projects and building new model rural areas is still limited.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dao Trong Duc acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the work in 2024 of the Fatherland Front bloc of the districts, especially the good organization of the Fatherland Front congresses at all levels, mobilizing people to unite, agree and actively participate in building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas. Through the activities, many good models and creative ways have contributed to creating consensus among the people and developing the socio-economy of the localities.
2025 is a year with many major events of the country and the city such as: Preparations for organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; implementation of the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Resolution of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city; arrangement of administrative units; streamlining of organization and staffing... Therefore, the workload and tasks assigned to the Fatherland Front are very large. The Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee requested that the Fatherland Front of the districts continue to innovate their working methods, focus on building a program of coordination and unified action, in which the criteria for striving are quantified and specified.
At the conference, the leaders of the City Fatherland Front Committee awarded the third round of support funds to the districts to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. On this occasion, the units in the cluster also reviewed and honored the Vinh Bao District Fatherland Front Committee to receive the Emulation Flag in 2024 and handed over the task of Head of the District Emulation Cluster in 2025 to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Hai District.
