When the lighting plan for Tokyo Skytree began, HID (high intensity discharge) lamps were used, but due to the need for energy saving, LED lamps were chosen instead. Renovated after 2020 with color reproduction technology and brightness adjustment technology independently developed by Panasonic Electric Works, 2,362 high-speed remote-controlled lighting devices make the tower visible from a distance of up to 20km. The total power consumption is 43% less than conventional light sources such as halogen lamps, so Tokyo Skytree Tower does not cause glare even when viewed from close range.

Similarly, another famous building that has also been "transformed" by changing the lighting system is Hanshin Koshien, the number 1 baseball stadium in the land of the rising sun. Built in 1924, the official stadium of the Hanshin Tigers professional baseball team located between the two major cities of Osaka and Kobe has the largest capacity in Japan and the world, earning the title of "the cradle of baseball".
Hanshin Koshien was forced to upgrade its lighting system with the shift to 4K and 8K broadcasting, requiring the lighting in the stadium where the televised event took place to have extremely high color rendering capabilities. With 757 fixtures controlled by a DMX system that precisely sets the angles and anti-glare technology, after the renovation, not only did the players on the field have better visibility to compete, the quality of live recording was higher, but the cheering images created by controlling the lighting system also had a cheering effect, creating a vibrant atmosphere on the field.

According to research results of Panasonic Electric Works, the change in lifestyle and the speed of infrastructure development in Vietnam in the coming time makes the market for smart home devices and the civil electrical materials sector here extremely potential.
Currently, Vietnam is the company's top focus country in Southeast Asia, so the company is focusing a lot of resources on developing this market. Panasonic Electric Works also said that their new factory in Vietnam (Binh Duong) will start production from 2024, optimizing the production line like Japan.
