Bringing to the elegant student contest of the Faculty of Economics and Construction Management - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (CEM King & Queen 2024) the collection of traditional Vietnamese ao dai, designer Tran Hoa Linh shared that traditional Vietnamese costumes not only show the gentle and elegant beauty of women but are also considered a cultural symbol of the country. Ao dai is often worn during festivals, weddings or important events.
The traditional ao dai collection is inspired by the traditional ao dai line including: five panels, four panels, combined with traditional ao dai, modern innovations.

The motifs used on the shirt are hand-painted, inspired by Dong Ho folk paintings (reflecting the simple image of workers), Hang Trong paintings with sophisticated strokes. The colors are richly selected, from dark tones with a classic feel to youthful, modern colors.
Designer Tran Hoa Linh often cares about young generations, especially students who love and care about Ao Dai. Through this traditional costume collection at the CEM King & Queen 2024 competition, Tran Hoa Linh wants to inspire young people with a deep love for the national Ao Dai, as well as how to use the Ao Dai appropriately for life events as a product of fashion, culture, and the Vietnamese people.
