Typical miner at Ha Long Coal Company

As the leader of production team No. 1 of Mining Workshop 11, Ha Long Coal Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, was born and raised in the land rich in patriotic traditions and revolutionary heroes of Truc Ninh, Nam Dinh . After graduating from Hong Cam Mining Vocational College - Quang Ninh, in July 2009, Mr. Hoi was recruited to work at Ha Long Coal Company. Since then, he has always been a typical worker in the emulation movements of the workshop and the company.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Head of Production Team No. 1, Exploitation Workshop 11, thoroughly instructed team members on occupational safety and health, procedures, techniques... before starting the production shift.

With 14 years of experience, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi has been a team leader for 7 years, always devoted to his work, united, gathered the will of each individual in the unit, promoted democracy, creativity, regularly mentored and helped colleagues to complete all assigned production and business tasks. As a team leader who is always active in his work and has made many efforts and struggles, Mr. Hoi's income is always in the top of the Company's high-income workers with a total income of more than 368 million VND in 2022; In the first 4 months of 2023, Mr. Hoi's income reached more than 173 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi (first row, eighth position from right) received a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding achievements in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" in 2021 and the first 4 months of 2022.

In the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", Mr. Hoi and his colleagues have had many initiatives to ensure safety and reduce resource loss applied to production, typically the initiative "Separating and filtering rocks without mixing them with coal, affecting the ash content of raw coal". When applied, the initiative has brought many benefits such as: ensuring ash content, output, increased labor productivity, significantly increased workers' income, no waste of resources, reduced production costs.

With a serious working spirit, strictly following the procedures and regulations on safety work, regulations on professional work, along with experience and tireless efforts, Mr. Hoi has achieved many achievements in his work. Those efforts have been recognized and rewarded by all levels such as: the title of Emulation Fighter at the Company level in 2021, the title of excellent high-income worker of Quang Ninh Coal Union in 2019, the title of "Miner - Soldier in 2019, the third quarter of 2020 and the whole year of 2020", the typical Young Miner family of Quang Ninh Coal Union in 2021; commended and rewarded by the Company Party Committee for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2021 and the first 4 months of 2022...

Family is the driving force of Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, head of production team No. 1, Exploitation Workshop 11.

In addition to professional work, Mr. Hoi always enthusiastically participates in the movement activities at the unit, especially the social and charitable activities of the Company. In addition, as the Secretary of the Workshop Youth Union, Mr. Hoi actively organizes and participates in movement activities at the unit and the Company; is the leading nucleus in volunteer activities, traditional education, care and support for policy beneficiaries organized by the Company Youth Union and the higher-level Youth Union.

Mr. Hoi participated in the Winter volunteer program of Ha Long Coal Group in Minh Ngoc commune, Bac Me district, Ha Giang province.

No matter how busy he is, every day when he comes home, Mr. Hoi always tries to help his wife arrange and clean the house neatly, and spends time teaching his children the smallest things in life. For him, besides work, family is a solid support that gives him more motivation to strive, love his job, and be more attached to the Company and Dat Mo.
