Amanda, 32, will fly into space on the upcoming launch of Blue Origin Company (USA) using the New Shepard rocket.
The flight is sponsored by Space for Humanity (headquartered in Denver – USA), a non-profit organization that specializes in funding space flights to promote changes related to awareness.
The Citizen Astronaut Program of the above organization is implemented with the aim of enabling each citizen astronaut to contribute to solving global challenges.
Antonio Peronace, CEO of Space for Humanity, praised Amanda's upcoming journey as a symbol of "strength, passion and excellence", in line with the organization's mission of "democratizing space and promoting global connectivity".
Amanda emphasized her shared values and vision for the future, saying: "Together, we are committed to changing the way we see space, each other, and the future of humanity. I look forward to my spaceflight, and our journey to a brighter and better future."

There is no specific time for Amanda's space flight yet.
Amanda graduated from Harvard University (USA) and interned at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 2013.
She worked at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (USA), before serving as deputy White House liaison at the US State Department.
In 2014, Amanda founded Rise, a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting the civil rights of victims of sexual assault and rape.
Amanda, who was raped while attending college in Massachusetts, helped draft the Sexual Assault Survivors Bill of Rights, which was passed by the Obama administration in 2016.
She is also known for her efforts to promote Asian American rights, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2019. She was named Time Magazine 's Woman of the Year in 2022.
