Although publisher Rockstar Games is very busy with the Red Dead Redemption expansion and continuing to update GTA 5, it seems that fans are losing patience when waiting for news about the release date of GTA 6. Recently, a Grand Theft Auto (GTA) fan broke into a live TV show about... football to ask about the sequel GTA 6.
Uninvited guest (wearing a beanie) crashes live broadcast to ask about GTA 6
An unidentified man entered the set of Doppelpass, a German football program about the Bundesliga hosted by former Bayern Munich and Germany international Stefan Effenberg. While the former football star was speaking live, he was surprised by the appearance of a strange guest. Shortly after, another participant threw water on the uninvited guest and then forced him to leave the set.
Longtime GTA fans later realized that the "intruder" was the same person who interrupted the game show "Beat The Star" in 2021 just to ask about GTA 6: "Where is GTA 6? I'm still waiting for GTA 6."
GTA 6 is long awaited
GTA is still going strong with the best version of GTA 5. But naturally, every player is eagerly waiting for GTA 6, which is expected to bring players back to Vice City and build on the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2.
It has been almost ten years since GTA 5 was released (September 2013), and there is still no official word on when GTA 6 will be released or the game's main map. GTA 5 was released 5 years after GTA 4, which is the longest gap between GTA versions ever.
We don't know how epic and exciting GTA 6 will be, but making fans wait 10 years is too long.
