On the evening of December 9, the BridgeFest Music Festival - Community Connection was held at Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) with a vibrant music space and the participation of many domestic and international artists.
With the message "working together towards a humane economy", the event affirms the impressive combination of music and social activities.
Thousands of audiences "burned out" at the BridgeFest 2023 Music Festival
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Diplomatic Missions of the United States, Canada, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Swiss Embassy, Oxfam in Vietnam, and social organizations.
US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper shared that BridgeFest is a harmony between music and social meaning, thereby inspiring and empowering the next generation.
“I am excited to join in the spirit of celebrating diversity and inclusion at BridgeFest 2023. This collaborative effort, with the U.S. Mission, demonstrates our shared commitment to a future of equality,” said U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper.
Ambassadors from various countries visited the booths of 38 social organizations on Nguyen Hue walking street. At the same time, the ambassadors also shared about the meaning that BridgeFest brings, it has a greater value than just a music festival.
This event connected 38 social organizations, social enterprises and clubs and groups from all three regions of the country, creating a unique space to introduce the efforts of the social sector contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam in many different fields such as environmental protection, education, health, culture, gender equality, people with disabilities, women and children, etc.
BridgeFest is an annual Music Festival - Community Connection, attracting many famous artists, young audiences and social organizations, honoring efforts to contribute to promoting social equality.
BridgeFest 2023 witnessed a colorful music night of beloved artists such as Vo Ha Tram, Da LAB group, Microwave group, Lynk Lee, beat boxer Tuansss, and artists from the United States such as Adrienne Mack - Davis and DJ 32french.
Singer Adrienne Mack - Davis performed a series of extremely vibrant songs with a harmonious combination with DJ 32french. It is known that Adrienne Mack - Davis spent 4 years living and working in Ho Chi Minh City and released many music products here.
She shared that she felt very happy and honored to be a guest at this event, which attracted a lot of young people. What made her feel even more wonderful was that Vietnamese culture was very interesting and the food was delicious.
Previously, 38 booths of social organizations were also opened for tourists and people to visit and shop with unique handmade items, recycled items, and environmentally friendly materials.
Environmental protection messages and warnings about the harmful effects of deforestation are also displayed at the booths.
Many cultural activities and folk games of ethnic groups across Vietnam are also held at the event for people to enjoy and experience.
