The New Year Festival City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 has just opened at Saigon River Park (HCMC), attracting thousands of attendees.
The highlight of the opening ceremony was the music night "Loud Xao". The art program brought a series of hits from popular singers such as Truc Nhan, Karik, MONO, (S)TRONG Trong Hieu, Kay Tran...
Appearing at the show, Truc Nhan gave the audience 4 familiar songs, which are also hits associated with his name such as "Co khong lu ma dung tim", "That bat ngo", "Bon chu lam" and the recently released song "Khong ra gi".
Truc Nhan exploded with a series of hits.
The male singer continued to prove his ability with his top-notch live singing ability. Offstage, the audience continuously requested Truc Nhan to participate in Anh trai vu ngan cong gai season 2. In front of the audience's cheers, Truc Nhan had to smile awkwardly, reminding the audience not to mention it anymore. However, the male singer did not clarify whether he decided to participate in season 2 or not.
Before the audience's affection, Truc Nhan sang a part of the song " Lon roi con khoc nhi" (Older still cry) . He said this was his last show in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Besides Truc Nhan, Mono is also a male singer who makes the audience scream when he appears. He performed 3 songs including Di tim tinh yeu, Cham hoa and Waiting for you . With his energy, Mono makes the audience unable to stand still.

The two talented actors of Anh trai vu ngan cong thorn , (S)Trong Trong Hieu and Kay Tran, also captivated the audience.
Kay Tran also treated the City Tet Fest audience to a feverish performance at Anh trai vu ngan cong gai , the song Nuoc hoa .
Both performed impressively with vibrant choreography. The audience cheered as they affirmed that their performance was "top notch, ceiling notch, fluttering".
Meanwhile, Karik gave the audience three hits : Co choi co hui, Quan chinh la than chau, Vi me em chua tae.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Thu Duc City People's Committee, emphasized that national culture is always one of the values that Thu Duc people cherish. This is the driving force for Thu Duc City to create a unique and meaningful event, bringing memorable experiences to people and visitors on the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2025.
Ms. Tran Tue Tri, representative of the Organizing Committee, said that City Tet Fest Thu Duc 2025 is a multi-colored, multi-experience New Year festival held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City with a combination of culture, community, technology and sustainability; not only bringing modern colors to the traditional Tet holiday but also clearly depicting the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City, which is diverse, generous, youthful, civilized and affectionate.

After the opening night, a series of cultural, entertainment, artistic, culinary activities,... of City Tet Fest will take place throughout 5 days.
The countdown concert will take place on the evening of December 31 with performances by singers My Tam, Dong Nhi, Chillies, tlinh, The Thien... and rapper Andree Right Hand, international DJ Plastik Funk.
