Recently, Miss Nguyen Tran Khanh Van suddenly shared on her personal page a screenshot of a previous interview about her titled: "Khanh Van: After waking up one night, I suddenly have a new house and car" posted by a person named V.
Along with the post, this person sent a message to Miss Universe Vietnam 2019: "How to sleep like this, show me how, Van!".
Miss Khanh Van was upset when her statement was misunderstood.
The beauty born in 1995 said this was the problem she encountered in 2020, when her interview was edited and the title on social media was misleading.
In a post on her fanpage with 2.7 million followers, Khanh Van quoted verbatim her interview answer about her changes after winning the crown. She said the house and car were the prizes given by the organizers when she was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019.
“The house and car are the awards given to me by the Miss Universe Vietnam organization when I won the title of Miss Universe Vietnam 2019. They are the results of my tireless efforts and hard work.
This award has accompanied me throughout my two-year tenure as Miss Universe Vietnam, and has been associated with many memories. The car has helped me get to places that needed my help, accompanied me on many meaningful journeys, and my home is where I keep the memories throughout my tenure that I can never forget.
And when her term ends, that award will continue to be given to the next beauty queen, values that I cherish very much!", the beauty born in 1995 confided.

At the end of her post, Miss Khanh Van said that she spoke up to protect her honor and to affirm that she absolutely does not support fake news, intentionally cutting words, and orienting in a negative direction.

Nguyen Tran Khanh Van was born in 1995 in Ho Chi Minh City, 1m75 tall, body measurements 83 - 61 - 95cm, is a model and actress. Before being crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, she won the title of Miss Ao Dai 2013, Miss Star 2014 runner-up, Top 10 Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, Silver prize of Vietnam Supermodel 2018.
As a student at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Van appeared in many film projects such as: "Phuong Khau", "Love is a Risk", "Banh Hoc Than Ai"... At the 69th Miss Universe held in the US, she stopped at the Top 21 finalists.
