On the afternoon of December 20, at Hamlet 1, Hang Vinh Commune, Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province, the Naval Region 5 Command coordinated with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank and local authorities to organize a handover ceremony of "Comrades' House" to soldiers with difficult housing circumstances who are working at the unit. Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Region presided over the handover ceremony.
At the ceremony, the Naval Region 5 Command presented the Decision to hand over the "Comrades' House" to the family of professional military Lieutenant Doan Xuan Cuong, Maritime Officer, Ship 5003, Squadron 516, Brigade 175.

The “Comrades House” has an area of 90m2 , after more than 2 months of construction, it was completed and put into use. The construction cost was more than 300 million VND. Of which, 80 million VND was supported by the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, the remaining amount was from family savings and relatives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan emphasized: Supporting the construction of "Comrades' House" is a meaningful and deeply humane activity, demonstrating the affection and concern of the Head of the Naval Region 5 Command and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank for soldiers with difficult housing circumstances. Thereby, contributing to encouraging, motivating, and helping military families have more conditions to improve their lives.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong, wife of Senior Lieutenant Doan Xuan Cuong, shared: “Previously, my family lived in a temporary, cramped corrugated iron house, so our daily life was difficult. I am very excited to receive support from the Naval Region 5 Command in coordination with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank to build a solid level 4 house right before the New Year. This is a great source of spiritual motivation for my husband to work with peace of mind and complete his assigned tasks well.”

On the same afternoon, during the working program in Ca Mau province, Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan chaired a democratic dialogue conference with officers and soldiers of Brigade 175 and the Technical-Logistics Support Center.
