On the afternoon of September 25, the program Bringing music to the hospital took place at Oncology Hospital, branch 2 (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City).
The program is organized by the Ministry of Health. The Youth Union Secretaries Club of the health sector and the Tim Hong volunteer group coordinate with other units to implement it.
Bringing music to the hospital at Oncology Hospital 2 is program number 198, also the first program to be held again in Ho Chi Minh City after a temporary suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tran Manh Tuan considers serving patients as happiness.
Saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan is one of the expected artists in the program Bringing music to the hospital at the Oncology Hospital.
He shared with Tuoi Tre Online : "This is not the first time Tran Manh Tuan has played the saxophone to serve patients at the hospital.
Besides his performing work as an artist, volunteer work always makes Tran Manh Tuan feel happier.
This life is about sharing, we need to do and do more".
Artist Tran Manh Tuan added that music brings people closer together through emotions and experiences.
"The presence of the audience in the program is the motivation for me, so that I can have better health, better spirit, and serve the audience more" - saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan confided.

In the program, he played the saxophone on two familiar songs loved by many audiences, including "Ve que" and "Mua hong" .
" Pink Rain is one of the optimistic and life-loving songs by musician Trinh Cong Son. In the song, there is a line "Life is so short that we are indifferent", let's spend all the time and moments together to share with each other" - saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan confided.

"We know his health is not guaranteed, but by chance, during our visit to Ho Chi Minh City, we visited him and he expressed his desire to participate in the program because of its meaning. Soothe the pain of patients with music
In addition to saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan, the program Bringing music to the hospital also features singers Thuy Trang, Nam Cuong, Tanh Linh, Bao Tram... and the VMusic group.
The singers performed cheerful songs with vibrant melodies to serve patients, doctors and medical staff.
"Cuong performs in many music programs to serve patients.
Each hospital will have different characteristics, but the Oncology Hospital is more special, we hope to bring optimism to patients" - singer Nam Cuong shared.

Doctor CKII Vo Duc Hieu - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital - said that the program Bringing music to the hospital not only brings smiles and joy to patients, but also creates joy for the medical staff who work hard day and night to provide the best care for patients.
Director Nguyen Tien Manh informed that after Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, the program Bringing Music to the Hospital will serve patients at Children's Hospital 1 and Thong Nhat Hospital in the next two days.
"The joy and happiness of patients after each program is the motivation for us to do the next programs.
After Ho Chi Minh City, we plan to organize this program at Ha Dong General Hospital, K Hospital... in Hanoi.
After that, we plan to return to Ho Chi Minh City, then organize in Dak Nong, Binh Duong provinces... to spread the meaning of the program to all hospitals nationwide" - Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh shared.
The program Bringing music to hospitals has been organized since 2011.
Up to this point, after 13 years, the program has organized 198 programs.
Including two more programs held in Ho Chi Minh City, Bringing Music to Hospitals reached the 200 mark.
