Intimate, emotional concert

He performed more than 15 piano pieces over the course of two hours. Between performances, some of the audience stood up and applauded him.
As soon as the show ended, many people lined up, holding souvenirs such as shirts, CDs, piano music books... waiting to get artist Boris Giltburg's autograph.
In the middle of the autograph session, he took some time to share with Tuoi Tre Online his feelings about coming to Vietnam and performing here for the first time.

Supporting young piano talents
In addition to the concert by artist Boris Giltburg, there will also be a performance by Man Nghi Trinh. She is a young pianist, 19 years old.

Une barque sur L'Océan by Maurice Ravel is the piece that left Man Nghi with the most emotions when performing because it successfully depicts the beauty of the ocean. The first time she heard this melody, the young artist was captivated by the emotions and images of the song.
Man Nghi started studying music at the age of 3. She soon showed an innate talent for music. However, she only truly realized that she wanted to become a professional piano soloist when she reached adulthood.
In 2024, she was admitted to the piano major at The Guildhall Music School in England, one of the five best conservatories in the world.
She also has certain achievements: bronze prize for professional artists at the International Piano Festival in Korea at the age of 9; participating in the qualifying rounds of the Chopin International Piano Competition held in Tokyo...
Boris Giltburg - Piano Recital is the first program in the SOLO International Concert Series, including 2 shows, in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of May 21 and in Hanoi on the evening of May 22.
Boris Giltburg is considered one of the most inspiring and captivating performing pianists in the world today. Since winning the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in 2013, he has performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall, Southbank Centre...
