On the afternoon of September 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL) organized the Thanh Hoa Professional Performing Arts Traditional Festival in conjunction with Vietnam Stage Day (August 12 of the lunar calendar) in 2024.

Attending the festival were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders and former leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and many artists and actors from professional art units in the province.

Typically, in the recent past, professional art units of Thanh Hoa have made many contributions to organizing major programs and events of the province such as: Thanh Hoa - Dien Bien Cultural Festival; participating in the Live TV Bridge program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); building a staged art program with the theme "The Dien Bien Phu Heroic Epic" at the meeting program, paying tribute to Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); Live art program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Geneva Agreement and the assembly train (1954-2024). Developing new plays: "The Sound of Thach Sanh's Guitar", "Tears of Childhood" participating in the First National Stage Arts Festival for Children and Youth; the play "The Ray of Sunlight at the End of the Road" participating in the National Drama Actor Talent Competition in 2024; "Meeting the Dead Again" participating in the National Cai Luong Festival in 2024... bringing many Gold and Silver awards for the play and actors.

At the same time, the artists of Thanh Hoa have been very creative in organizing the New Year Art Program, a weekend rendezvous to serve the people; organizing and participating in supporting units in the province to organize art programs, festivals on the occasion of commemorative events, district-level festivals in localities and units. In addition, artists of Thanh Hoa have created and organized many programs and plays to serve compatriots and soldiers in border areas, islands, remote areas, ethnic minorities; plays performed at prisons and detention camps in the province, helping prisoners raise positive awareness and spreading effects.
At the conference, leaders, officers and actors of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector expressed their condolences for the loss and pain of people in flood-affected areas and hoped that people in flood-affected areas would soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
