Catalin Chitu - the only foreigner to win the Second Prize with the photo Skyscraper Shrouded in Clouds shared: I took this photo in 2021, when the Covid-19 pandemic was going on, the whole city was in isolation. After the rain, I looked out and saw the skyscrapers floating in the clouds, very impressive. I learned about the contest through the press and it was open to foreigners, the content had a positive meaning, spreading the image of a happy Vietnam, so I thought why not try to participate. The message of the photo is nothing big, just a temporary emotion from the perspective of a foreigner who has been in Vietnam for 14 years, mainly living in Ho Chi Minh City. I feel that Vietnam is a wonderful country, the people here are definitely very happy, the country is peaceful, the war is over, the people are open, the food is delicious. So there is no reason why Vietnamese people are not happy. Blogger Hoang Nam : As a digital content creator, I am surprised and happy that the work of those who can be called freelance creators is being paid attention to. The award is a recognition, encouragement and motivation for us to be more creative. Photo contests are often arranged, but this contest in particular, I find it to be in the spirit of natural, simple, positive and radiant happiness. In recent years, I have seen many young people have a "revolution" of liking to travel, exploring Vietnam and taking photos. The photos sent to the Happy Vietnam contest will make them more actively participate in promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam. Looking at the photos in the exhibition, I feel a sense of resonance with the author, I will definitely spread that on my personal page.Vietnamnet.vn
