With the motto of action "Solidarity, discipline, proactive flexibility, effective acceleration", in 2024, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will focus on implementing the tasks of the department, achieving many results in many fields. Specifically, the fields of culture and family have been effectively implemented with many diverse and practical forms. Up to now, 74% of people have improved their enjoyment and participation in cultural activities, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values; 71% of district-level administrative units have Cultural - Sports Centers; 38.3% of commune-level administrative units have Cultural - Sports Centers; 43% of district-level administrative units have Children's Houses; 80% of commune, ward and town administrative units have activity and entertainment areas for youth, teenagers and children; 66.6% of wards and towns meet urban civilized standards, typical; 95% of villages and neighborhoods maintain the title of cultural and exemplary; 96% of agencies, units and enterprises meet cultural standards; 90% of families maintain the title of "Cultural, exemplary and happy family".

The sports sector ensured the completion of the targets and tasks according to the plan, the number of people practicing sports regularly during the year was 36%, reaching 100% of the yearly plan; the number of families practicing sports regularly was 23.5%, reaching 100% of the yearly plan. High-performance sports achieved 42 medals at national sports competitions; 57 medals at regional and expanded competitions; 6 medals at national mass sports competitions; athlete Bui Thi Yen Nhi won a Gold Medal at the Asian Kickboxing Championship. The tourism sector had a total number of visitors and vacationers estimated at nearly 3.5 million, an increase of 19.3% over the same period, reaching 108.1% of the plan; social income from tourism activities was estimated at 3,900 billion VND.
In 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to closely follow the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee; closely follow the goals and tasks of socio-economic development of the province to implement the proposed programs and plans. Accordingly, strive to achieve the rate of cultural villages and neighborhoods to reach 100% compared to the total number of launched villages and 100% compared to the total number of recognized villages. The rate of population regularly practicing sports is 37.5%; sports families are 25%. It is expected to train and coach sports teams including 28 coaches and 170 athletes; organize sports competitions: 13 provincial sports tournaments and 27 sports tournaments, sports festivals in coordination with other sectors; participate in 35 sports tournaments including: 2 international tournaments, 29 national tournaments; 4 regional and expanded tournaments. In addition, participate in training and exchange competitions outside the province.
