Quang Binh province has announced 7 new department directors after merging a number of specialized agencies in terms of organizational structure and personnel work.
On the afternoon of February 20, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province held a conference to announce the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment, consolidation and merger of a number of specialized agencies regarding organizational structure and personnel work.
Specifically, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province decided to merge the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) and the Department of Finance into the Department of Finance. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dat, Director of the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, was appointed to the position of Director of the (new) Department of Finance.
Appoint Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) as the new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment after merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The Department of Information and Communications merged into the Department of Science and Technology to form the Department of Science and Technology. Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, was appointed as the (new) Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
Mr. Tran The Vuong, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, was appointed as the (new) Director of the Department of Home Affairs after the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs merged into the Department of Home Affairs.
Appoint Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong, Director of the Department of Transport as Director of the Department of Construction (new), on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction.
Establish the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province on the basis of merging the Department of Culture and Sports with the Department of Tourism. This (new) Department also takes over the state management function of press and publishing from the Department of Information and Communications.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, was appointed as Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Establish the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion (new) on the basis of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, and at the same time receive additional functions and tasks of state management of religion from the Department of Home Affairs. Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, was appointed as Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion.
Mobilize and appoint Mr. Le Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Construction (former) as Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
Quang Binh province has also merged the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and reorganized the Office of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (former) was appointed as Deputy Chief of the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province emphasized: The arrangement and consolidation of specialized agencies is an important milestone in the innovation process; opening a new stage in the organization and operation of the provincial administrative apparatus.
According to Mr. Phong, this action demonstrates the determination to innovate of the Party Committee and government of Quang Binh province to operate more effectively and better serve the people and businesses.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province awarded certificates of merit to 6 officials who applied for early retirement to facilitate the work of streamlining the organizational apparatus.
