From October 1 to November 5, the Russian military deployed more than 2,200 UAVs to attack Ukrainian targets.
However, within a week after the US presidential election, the number of attacks increased sharply, with 641 UAVs launched, equivalent to about 90 UAVs/day.
The escalation of attacks is aimed at putting pressure on Ukraine’s infrastructure and people. According to analysts, this move could affect Kiev’s willingness to negotiate.
On the morning of November 15, Russia announced that its army continued to attack Kupyansk, advancing deep into the enemy's defense line, denying information provided by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) about successfully stopping Moscow's offensive in this area.
According to the Talegram channel “SHOT”, units of the Russian Armed Forces (VS RF) attacked several positions of the VSU in the area of “Kupyansk Feed Mill”, where the forces are trying to resist.
Multiple launch rocket (MLRS) attacks appeared to be extremely effective, with Russian units able to strike up to 6.5 km.
Also on November 15, VSU organized two counterattacks but all were repelled.
According to information from the scene, about 20 VSU soldiers were eliminated from the battle along with many armored vehicles, 5 cars, 2 artillery pieces and 3 field ammunition depots.
In addition, the Russian military also destroyed seven UAV launchers, significantly reducing the VSU's reconnaissance and attack capabilities.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army has lost more than 500 soldiers in the Kupyansk direction. The offensive allows Moscow to strengthen its control over strategic points and creates the premise for further attacks.
