Russia shows off its power, stops Ukraine's HIMARS attack

The SF news site reported that the Russian military revealed that air defense forces intercepted two series of HIMARS attacks and six drones of Ukrainian forces on November 28. The drones were intercepted in Fedoseyevka and Shipilovka in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic, Vladimirovka in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Komsomolskoye in the Zaporozhye region and Golaya Pristan in the Kherson region.

These developments took place amid reports of a new precision strike by the Russian military against targets along the frontline and deep in the Ukrainian rear.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Army Aviation and Operational-Tactical Aviation, drones, missile and artillery teams of the groups of forces attacked the Center for Application and Training of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, an aviation fuel depot, 3 detection radars (2 P-18 and one ST-68) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as personnel and military equipment in 103 areas.

The Russian Defense Ministry also informed about the situation on the front line:

In the direction of Kupyansk, units of the Zapad Group of Forces, supported by air and artillery, repelled four attacks launched by assault units of the 57th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Sinkovka (Kharkov region). Ukrainian losses amounted to 30 Ukrainian soldiers and one D-20 howitzer.

In the direction of Krasny Liman, helicopters and artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces attacked the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Torskoye and Grigorovka (self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic). The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 40 Ukrainian soldiers and 2 pickup trucks.

In the direction of Donetsk, units of the Yug Group of Forces, supported by air and artillery, have taken more advantageous lines and positions near Artyomovsk (self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic). In addition, three attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled, and Ukrainian personnel and equipment were lost near Chasov Yar, Kleshcheyevka and Georgiyevka (self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic). Up to 135 Ukrainian soldiers and three pickup trucks were neutralized in this direction on November 28.
