A research group proposes to invest in a 120 million USD project in Nghe An.

Before working with Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An, leaders of Radiant Opto - Electronic Corp Company came to greet and talk with Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung.

Attending the meeting, on the investor side, there were Mr. Justin Wang - General Director of Radiant Opto-Electronic Corp; Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd.

Radiant Opto - Electronic Corp (Taiwan) is a corporation that produces optical components, light guide plates, wallpaper modules, liquid crystal module assemblies... The company has factories in Taiwan and China.

Currently, the company is choosing VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park to study the location and propose project investment with a land use scale of about 8.2 hectares, with a total registered investment capital of about 120 million USD, expected to complete construction and come into operation by the end of 2024.

Expressing his delight at welcoming the leaders of Radiant Opto - Electronic Corp to learn about and propose investment in VSIP Industrial Park in Nghe An province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An emphasized that Nghe An is a province with advantages in terms of geographical location, investment space and abundant human resources; stable political security situation, receiving attention from the Central Government and issuing many preferential policies.

The province's transport and social infrastructure have been and are being invested synchronously, becoming a vocational training center and a major medical center of the country. The provincial government regularly improves the investment environment, reforms administrative procedures; actively and promptly removes difficulties and obstacles for investors.

Thanks to that, Nghe An is considered one of the attractive destinations of Vietnam in the current period. Currently, the province has 131 projects of investors from 14 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly 4 billion USD; there is a large Chinese-speaking business community with 52 projects with a total registered investment capital of more than 2.6 billion USD, accounting for 2/3 of the total FDI capital in the province.

The province also has the presence of 8 leading corporations in the world in manufacturing electronic components, technology, and green energy, such as: Luxshare - ICT, Goertek, Everwin, JuTeng, Foxconn, Sunny, Runergy, Shandong.

In 2022, Nghe An attracted nearly 1 billion USD in FDI, ranking 10th nationwide. To date, Nghe An has attracted 1.41 billion USD in FDI, continuing to rank in the top 10 nationwide and ranking first in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

"This is the greatest proof of foreign investors' trust in Nghe An province's business investment environment and also proof of Nghe An's attractiveness in attracting FDI capital sources," Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An emphasized.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his delight that Radiant Opto - Electronic Corp chose VSIP Industrial Park, Nghe An as the place to invest and thereby contribute to forming the leading center for manufacturing electronic equipment and technology in the region.

In the next 5 years, Nghe An will complete 2 strategic transport infrastructure projects: building Cua Lo deep-water port and upgrading and expanding Vinh international airport. Regarding VSIP, the province has prepared land funds and planning for VSIP to develop in the coming time.

Emphasizing that VSIP is the leading industrial park infrastructure investor in Vietnam, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that Radiant Opto - Electronic Corp will be successful in doing business in Vietnam in general and Nghe An province in particular.

Nghe An province commits to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of policies, investment and business environment, support during the investment process and post-investment production and business activities.

The General Director of Radiant Opto-Electronic Corp emphasized that in the future, to meet customer demands, the company needs to have many satellite companies around the world. In the next 30 years, Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular are the places for the company to develop stably and long-term.

"The company chose Nghe An as the place to invest in the project because this is a locality with good human resources and flexible global trade policies. Hopefully, the parties will work together to develop together," the General Director of Radiant Opto-Electronic Corp emphasized.
