On January 3, the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong province) announced that the unit had just issued Decision No. 4026/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2023 on the temporary suspension of work for Mr. Luu Van Gia, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Duc town, Dak R'lap district, for the 2021-2026 term.
The period of temporary suspension from work is 15 days from the effective date of the decision on temporary suspension from work.
According to the decision, Mr. Luu Van Gia was temporarily suspended from work due to lack of responsibility in directing, operating, and organizing the implementation of construction order management and land management in Kien Duc town.
During the temporary suspension from work, Dak R'lap District People's Committee requested Mr. Gia to make an explanatory report and organize a review of responsibilities.
Recently, in Kien Duc town, there have been violations of land and construction order.
It is known that recently, Dak R'lap district has directed strongly in planning, state management of land, construction order, and urban areas in the district.
However, this work in Kien Duc has not been promptly rectified and remedied. Violations of land, construction order, and encroachment on public land occur openly.
According to the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district, the above situation occurred because the local Party Committee and government were lax in management and did not fulfill their responsibilities. On the other hand, professional staff were incompetent and irresponsible in performing their duties. Some officials and civil servants shirked responsibility and lacked coordination.
In addition to Mr. Gia's responsibility, the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district has consulted with relevant units and decided to temporarily suspend a cadastral official of Kien Duc town and a deputy head of the economic and infrastructure department of Dak R'lap district.
