(NLDO) - A male student in Binh Duong is at risk of having to amputate a hand after buying a mixture with a group of friends to make homemade fireworks.
On December 28, An Thanh Ward Police, Thuan An City (Binh Duong) said they were investigating and verifying the case of a student whose hand was crushed due to playing with firecrackers.

Earlier, at around 10am on December 27, people heard a loud explosion from the bank of Cau Trang canal in An Thanh ward. When they got closer, they discovered a group of students there. At that time, a male student was injured and was taken by his friend on an electric bike to a nearby clinic for emergency treatment.
At the scene, there was a part of a finger, a backpack, and books. There were many firecrackers in the backpack. The injured student was NAK (grade 9, Trinh Hoai Duc Secondary School, Thuan An City).
K. is being treated at the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital, at risk of having to amputate a hand.
It is known that after the first semester exam, NAK and his friends went home to play and bought a mixture to make fireworks at K's house.
After making the firecrackers, the group took them to the canal near their house to test them. Unfortunately, they exploded, crushing K.'s hand. The school is working with authorities to clarify the incident.
