On October 25, the Economic and Environmental Police Team, Thanh Khe District Police (Da Nang City) said that they are consolidating records and continuing to verify and clarify violations of an "underground" cosmetic facility in the district.

Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on October 24, the Environmental Economic Police Team, Thanh Khe District Police inspected compliance with environmental and health protection laws at the ID Korea Aesthetic Service Business Establishment (265-267 Hung Vuong, Thanh Khe District) owned by Mr. D.XT (28 years old).
During the inspection, this facility did not present the Hazardous Waste Collection Contract as prescribed; did not equip specialized trash bins to collect and store medical waste and hazardous waste at the facility; the facility only equipped regular trash bins without lids; did not arrange an area for medical waste bins; Medical waste was stored together with regular waste.
In particular, the "doctor" of Ms. LTH's facility (24 years old) is performing a "breast augmentation" service for a customer while not having a degree or certificate to practice medical examination and treatment as prescribed.
Through work, Ms. H. said she had just graduated from high school and was introduced by the facility's marketing staff as "The best cosmetic doctor in Da Nang".

The police determined that before performing the procedure, Ms. H. had performed a health check and taken blood from the client for testing purposes, but in reality, the blood drawing was just a ploy to increase trust in the facility's professionalism.
During the inspection, it was discovered that all the blood taken from customers was put into the trash can on the 3rd floor of the facility (especially this blood was not preserved, it was scattered around, posing many dangerous risks of infection).
This facility also operates spa and cosmetic services and performs procedures including breast augmentation, nose augmentation, interventional machines, filler injections, botox and other pharmaceuticals... into the customer's body upon request, but does not have a written notice that it meets the conditions for providing cosmetic services of the Da Nang City Department of Health as prescribed.
The facility uses drugs to inject and perform the intervention service of "breast augmentation" for a customer while the facility is not a hospital with a cosmetic specialty or a cosmetic specialty clinic or another medical examination and treatment facility with a scope of specialized activities in cosmetic specialty.
In addition, the facility has not yet presented invoices or documents proving the origin of the 504 medical supplies stored here.
Currently, the authorities have drawn up a record of all inspection contents at the facility and temporarily detained the facility's medical supplies to continue verifying and clarifying the violation.
