The Department of Transport of Phu Tho province has just issued a document reporting on the adjustment of traffic flow and organization through Trung Ha bridge at km64+639 of National Highway 32, Phu Tho province.

The decision was made based on a document from the Vietnam Road Administration on traffic diversion through Phong Chau Bridge (km18+200 QL32C), Tu My Bridge (km26+500 QL32C) and Trung Ha Bridge (km64+639 QL32), Phu Tho province.

Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province allows cars with 7 seats or less, two-wheeled motorbikes, three-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes (including electric motorbikes), rudimentary road vehicles and traffic participants to cross Trung Ha bridge.

Notably, the authorities only allow one lane of traffic in each direction. Vehicles must follow the designated lanes and travel at a maximum speed of 20 km/h and are not allowed to stop or park on the bridge.

The Department of Transport of Phu Tho province requested the Ba Vi District Police (Hanoi City), Tam Nong District Police (Phu Tho Province) to coordinate with the Inspectorate of the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province and relevant agencies to organize guidance, regulation, and traffic flow through Trung Ha bridge to ensure safety.

Previously, on the evening of September 9, the Hanoi Department of Transport announced a ban on vehicles passing through Trung Ha Bridge because the bridge was damaged, had eroded piers, and was under repair.
