"Saigontourist Group Food Culture and Delicacies Festival 2023" organized by Saigon Tourist Corporation (Saigontourist Group) will take place for 4 days, from April 20 to 23, 2023 at Van Thanh Tourist Area, Ho Chi Minh City. With the success of the event in the organization last year, "Saigontourist Group Food Culture and Delicacies Festival 2022 " was voted by the World Culinary Awards as " Asia's Best Culinary Festival 2022 ".

To honor the culinary culture of the three regions, member units representing 4-5 star hotels, resorts, and restaurants of Saigontourist Group in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities will bring to the festival over 350 regional dishes and drinks presented by experienced chefs. The festival also introduces the quintessence of traditional crafts associated with cuisine, performances of unique traditional art forms, and folk games.
The space of the Saigontourist Group Food Culture and Delicious Dishes Festival 2023 is arranged into 3 regions: North, Central, South, gathering over 40 culinary booths of Saigontourist Group units nationwide. Diners will enjoy hundreds of unique dishes selected from regions prepared by famous chefs of 5-star hotels such as Rex Saigon, Majestic Saigon, Grand Saigon, Caravelle Saigon, New World Saigon; luxury hotels Continental Saigon, De Nhat, Kim Do, Oscar Saigon, Thien Hong, Dong Khanh, Saigon, Binh Quoi Tourist Village, Tan Cang tourist area, Can Gio, Van Thanh, Saigon Train, Dam Sen Cultural Park, Saigontourist College of Tourism & Hospitality; with high-class hotels and resorts of Saigontourist Group in provinces and cities such as Saigon - Ha Long resort, Majestic Mong Cai, Saigon - Phu Tho, Saigon - Ban Gioc, Saigon - Ba Be, Saigon - Kim Lien, Saigon - Quang Binh, Saigon - Dong Ha, Saigon - Morin, Saigontourane, Saigon - Ban Me, Saigon - Da Lat, Saigon - Phu Yen, Saigon - Ninh Chu, Saigon - Mui Ne, Saigon - Phu Quoc, Saigon - Rach Gia, Saigon - Vinh Long, Saigon - Con Dao... The festival introduces and sells over 350 unique dishes from localities across the country.
To introduce to the public attending the festival, the organizers researched and selected dishes that combine typical elements, "standard" regional flavors, dishes that evoke nostalgia when recalling memories of a time, and "nostalgic" dishes (comfort food). The festival also has a vegetarian booth serving vegetarian food lovers with many special vegetarian dishes.
In the culinary line of "nostalgic" dishes, people from the North will feel nostalgic when they have the opportunity to try again the authentic Hanoi-style bun cha, Ho Tay shrimp cakes, fried crab spring rolls, Tra Co crab spring rolls, meat with meatballs, grilled pork rolls from Lo River, vermicelli with tofu and shrimp, dishes of the ethnic minorities in the Northwest and Northeast highlands..., or simply the rustic white sticky rice with sesame salt. Central cuisine lovers cannot miss Quang noodles, steamed mackerel rolled in rice paper, Cao Lau with pork, stir-fried mussels with rice paper, sticky rice with pigeon, "king oysters" of Con Co, ocean tuna and fresh seafood from the central coastal provinces, Hue dishes, Central Highlands dishes, Da Lat snacks... Although the main element is cuisine, the Festival also integrates many special activities such as art performances, cultural exchanges, folk games, and reenactments of traditional craft villages for visitors to enjoy. Quan Ho performances, Hue singing, Don Ca Tai Tu, monkey dances, Chhay Dam drum performances by Khmer artists, Then singing from the Northwest region, etc. make the Festival space more bustling, with diverse cultural nuances of the regions.
Joining the festive atmosphere are folk games that evoke childhood memories. The village craft models recreated at the Festival are also an interesting activity, allowing visitors to see firsthand how artisans demonstrate their skills in many traditional crafts such as wine making, tofu making, vermicelli, rice paper, candy, traditional cakes, bamboo weaving, conical hat weaving, sedge mat weaving, and pottery making.
Many traditional crafts, folk games, and childhood games are uniquely recreated.
Saigontourist Group's 2023 Food and Drink Culture Festival will open from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, continuously for 4 days, April 20, 21, 22, 23, 2023 at Van Thanh Tourist Area.
