The all-new Mitsubishi XFC SUV is expected to launch in the Southeast Asian market this year with prices starting at around VND600 million.
Recently, the commercial version of the new Mitsubishi XFC 2024 was discovered during a test run in Indonesia. Previously, the concept version was introduced at the VMS 2022 Exhibition in Vietnam and the IIMS 2023 Exhibition in Indonesia.
A video recording the Mitsubishi XFC SUV model appearing on February 10 at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road area, Indonesia was posted by the YouTube channel Sigimedianet Pictures. Although the test car is quite well camouflaged, we can easily recognize the Mitsubishi XFC through the design of the radiator grille and characteristic lights. 
Compared to the concept, the commercial version retains most of the design lines. However, the front of the car has been refined, especially the trapezoidal grille and L-Shape headlight cluster, integrated with positioning lights. 
The rather distinctive hexagonal fog lights on the concept have also been removed, replaced by smaller lights with a simple design placed in the two front bumper air vents. The side of the car still retains the square lines from the concept, giving the B-size SUV a sporty look. 
Meanwhile, the rear of the car has a simple design, highlighted by the T-shaped taillights. Mitsubishi has not yet announced the technical specifications of the XFC, but it is likely that the SUV will use the same engine as the Xpander with a 1.5L MIVEC engine and front-wheel drive. 
Although the commercial version has not been announced yet, Mitsubishi XFC has received deposits in Vietnam. According to information from the dealer, this model will be launched in 2023 with a price of 600 - 700 million, competing with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Honda HR-V.
