According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (October 30), in the area from Southern Nghe An to Phu Yen, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms . In particular, the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri and Quang Nam, Quang Ngai will have heavy to very heavy rain.

In this afternoon's bulletin, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warned that the risk level of natural disasters caused by heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail in Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai has reached level 2.

According to the meteorological agency, the weather forecast from this afternoon to tomorrow (October 31) is that Ha Tinh will continue to have very heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 100-200mm, with some places over 250mm. Notably, heavy rain will be concentrated this afternoon and tonight.

At the same time, the area from Quang Binh to Quang Tri also has heavy rain, some places have very heavy rain with total rainfall from 80-150mm, some places have over 200mm. From this afternoon to the morning of November 2, in the area from Thua Thien Hue to Khanh Hoa, there is heavy rain, some places have very heavy rain with total rainfall from 100-250mm, some places have over 400mm.

In addition, this afternoon and tonight, in the Southern Nghe An, Central Highlands, and Southern regions, there will be showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 70mm.

The meteorological agency also warned that soil moisture models showed that some areas in the above provinces were nearly saturated (over 85%) or had reached saturation. Therefore, there was a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes in nearly 50 districts.
