Support for house repair in Tra Mai commune, Nam Tra My district.
According to the plan, in early March 2025, the Provincial Front will supervise the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in 6 poor districts with a large number of temporary and dilapidated houses and diverse beneficiaries including: Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Phuoc Son, Dong Giang, Nam Giang and Tay Giang. At the same time, supervise the Steering Committee of Phu Ninh and Duy Xuyen New Rural Districts to evaluate the leadership and direction of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality that has met the new rural standards.
In localities, the delegation monitored the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the period of 2023-2025 according to Resolution 13/2023/NQ-HDND dated September 22, 2023 and Resolution 27/2024/NQ-HDND dated July 26, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council; advantages, difficulties, obstacles, shortcomings, and limitations in the implementation process; clarified the causes, proposed solutions to effectively implement and complete the goal of building and repairing temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025.
The supervision content revolves around the leadership and direction of the Party Committee; the role of the presiding, leading and directing the People's Committee at the district level in reviewing, selecting subjects, approving the list, classifying subjects, dividing the implementation period and proposing the allocation of resources (budgetary sources, mobilized sources and other legal sources), the results of the implementation of support for building and repairing houses according to the approved list. The work of mobilizing socialized funding sources (mobilized sources into accounts, direct sponsors, mobilization among the people, etc.) ; the management, allocation and use of funding sources for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality, including: sources transferred by the Provincial Mobilization Committee, mobilized sources in the locality; allocated provincial budget sources and local budget sources (district and commune levels) arranged for implementation; disbursed and undisbursed amounts and reasons for remaining funds.
On this occasion, the Supervisory Delegation inspected the coordination between the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the same level during the implementation process. The results of the implementation of support for housing construction and repair for each target group, and the funding source for each group up to the time of supervision.
On this occasion, the Monitoring Team will conduct a survey of some commune-level localities and some households that have received support for construction and repair in 2024, and some households that are doing it and will do it in 2025. Then, work with the district-level steering committee to clearly understand the number of houses that need to be focused on in 2025 for each target group; solutions and funding sources for implementation for each target group.
Through monitoring, the difficulties, shortcomings, recommendations, proposals and commitments of the localities will be synthesized by the Provincial Front and reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Steering Committee to promptly make decisions to remove difficulties with the localities, ensuring the completion of the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by 2025.
