Huong An Town Front supports the construction of 19 solidarity houses

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong An town closely followed the local political tasks, made efforts to gather, build great solidarity and care for people's lives.

The Town Front mobilized more than 1.5 billion VND from the Fund for the Poor. Thereby, it supported the construction of 19 solidarity houses, presented 5,600 gifts, donated 4 breeding cows, and 6 sugarcane juice carts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households.

In addition, 19 cases of sudden difficulties were supported with an amount of 57 million VND; mobilized and received nearly 500 million VND for COVID-19 prevention.

The Huong An Town Front also helped 10 households escape poverty. Up to now, the local poverty rate has decreased to 1.15% (31 households), and the near-poor rate has decreased to 2.15% (58 households).

In building civilized urban areas, the Front mobilized people to donate nearly 10,000 square meters of land and architectural structures to expand traffic routes; implemented models such as "Residential areas say no to plastic waste", "National flag route", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful route", "Religious people self-manage to protect the environment"...

The Huong An Town Front organized 10 supervisions on land and mineral management; 5 police forums to listen to people's opinions, 5 forums for people to give opinions to officials and civil servants, and many dialogues between leaders of Party committees and authorities and the people.

The congress elected 35 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town, term IV. Mr. Vo Dien was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong An town.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong An town awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives that successfully completed the tasks of the Front for the 2019-2024 term.
