Ms. Vu Nam Huong - Deputy General Director of LPBank received the award of Top 50 most effective businesses in 2024
The Top 50 most effective businesses in Vietnam in 2024 were announced on December 11, in which LPBank ranked 4th on the list. The ranking is conducted annually by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine in collaboration with Thien Viet Securities Company, with the consultation of leading economic and business experts from Harvard Business School, to honor large-scale companies with high capitalization and strong growth rates, worthy of being the pride of Vietnam. Business evaluation data is collected based on financial and transaction results of the last 4 years (2020-2023), including net revenue, profit after tax, equity (recorded on December 31 of each year) and market capitalization (as of November 1, 2024). This is the second time LPBank has been honored in the TOP 50, affirming the bank's sustainable growth and outstanding management capacity. This result not only reflects LPBank's business performance but also demonstrates the trust of investors and shareholders in the bank's development potential.This is the second consecutive year LPBank has been honored in the list of 50 most effective businesses.
At the end of the third quarter of 2024, LPBank recorded impressive business results with pre-tax profit reaching VND 2,900 billion. Accumulated in the first 9 months of the year, it reached VND 8,818 billion, an increase of 139% over the same period last year. With this achievement, LPBank has completed 84% of the pre-tax profit plan for the whole year, while setting a new record for the highest 9-month profit ever. Recently, LPBank was also the champion in the ranking of the top 10 banks with the highest return on equity (ROE) in the last 4 quarters.
