LPBank appoints Deputy General Director who is an expert in the field of information technology

On December 26, at the Hanoi Head Office, Loc Phat Bank Vietnam (LPBank) officially announced the decision to appoint Mr. Luu Danh Duc to the position of Deputy General Director and Director of Information Technology. This decision marks an important turning point in LPBank's investment strategy for digital transformation, in order to meet the increasing needs of customers and enhance the Bank's competitiveness.

Mr. Luu Danh Duc was born in 1973, has a Master's degree in Information Technology at the Francophone Institute of Informatics (IFI) and an Information Technology Engineer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of banking technology at home and abroad, Mr. Luu Danh Duc is considered an expert with strategic vision, excellent leadership ability and deep understanding of information technology. He participated in founding, operating and directing the implementation of many large information technology projects, including important projects related to the banking system. Before joining LPBank, Mr. Duc held many technology leadership positions in large corporations and banks in Vietnam such as: Deputy General Director of Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Director of IT Division of T&T Group (2022-2024); Director of Technology and Deputy General Director of Galaxy1, Sovico Group (2021-2022); Deputy General Director and Director of IT of SunGroup Corporation (2018-2020); Deputy General Director and Director of IT of VETC - Tasco (2016-2018); Director of Technology of VinGroup (2015-2016); Director of IT Division of Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (2009-2015)... Joining LPBank, Mr. Luu Danh Duc is expected to take the Bank further in the digital transformation process, optimize the technology system and develop innovative financial solutions. With rich experience and proven leadership, Mr. Duc will play a key role in building a solid technology foundation, supporting LPBank's business development strategies.
