Mazda CX-5 2023
Mazda CX-5 is expected to launch a facelift version in July. There is not much information about the appearance and technical specifications of this upgraded version, although the facelift version of the model was launched globally in 2021.
Mazda CX-5 is being discounted by THACO Auto by a record 100-137 million VND. The four versions 2.0L Deluxe, 2.0L Luxury, 2.0L Premium and 2.5L Signature Premium AWD have new prices of 739 million VND, 759 million VND, 799 million VND and 922 million VND, which is on par with some lower-segment models, such as Toyota Corolla Cross (755-955 million VND) or Honda HR-V (699-876 million VND). This is considered a move to clear inventory to welcome the new version.
Honda BR-V 2023
Honda will launch a 7-seat MPV model appearing for the first time in the Vietnamese market, the BR-V, also scheduled to launch on the same day as the City. This model promises to create an attractive race in the small MPV segment with the Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Veloz Cross.
The price of the BR-V is expected to fluctuate between 600-700 million VND. Like most of its competitors in the MPV segment, the Honda BR-V about to launch in Vietnam is also imported from Indonesia with two versions G and L.
In the Southeast Asian market, the Honda BR-V is equipped with a 1.5L gasoline engine, combined with a CVT automatic transmission similar to its brother City. The car is also equipped with the Honda Sensing safety package on both versions.

Honda City currently sold in Vietnam is still the model that appeared in 2021, including 4 versions: E, G, L and RS; all are equipped with a 1.5L DOHC i-Vtec engine (1.5L cylinder capacity using double cam), combined with a CVT automatic transmission. The listed price for the Honda City 2021 currently on sale is from 499-599 million VND, however, many dealers are heavily discounting to "clear inventory" to welcome the new 2023 version.
