From the images on the forums, on the morning of June 3, VietNamNet reporters went directly to the place where the Mazda CX-5 was parked, located at the junction between Mo Lao ward (Ha Dong district) and Trung Van ward (Nam Tu Liem district). However, when they arrived, the Mazda CX-5 was no longer parked at this location.
A nearby resident said the CX-5 had been towed away since yesterday morning (June 2) and it was unclear where it had been moved. However, this person confirmed that the white Mazda had been parked there for over a year, not before the Covid-19 pandemic as many reports on social media had suggested.
According to the reporter's observation, the location where the Mazda CX-5 was parked is at the end of an internal road in the Hoang Thanh area, close to the fence leading to the Seasons Avenue apartment complex (Mo Lao ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi). This area is surrounded by corrugated iron and is used by nearby restaurants as a place to park customers' vehicles and some kitchen utensils.

Further investigation by the PV from the vehicle management agency shows that this Mazda CX-5 with license plate 30A-249.XX was first registered in July 2014 under the name of a person named LAD in Phu Xuyen district (Hanoi).
The vehicle was last inspected and paid road fees in February 2017, and its inspection has now expired for nearly 6 years. The Traffic Police Department's Information Portal shows that the Mazda CX-5 vehicle mentioned above was involved in a traffic violation in Hanoi at 3:36 a.m. on March 4, 2022.
