More than 30 people are missing after a massive landslide in southwestern China on February 8, according to Chinese state media.

The landslide in Sichuan province buried 10 houses and left 30 people missing, prompting Chinese President Xi Jinping to order "all-out search and rescue efforts," Xinhua News Agency reported.
So far, two people have been rescued alive, pulled from the rubble. The death toll and extent of injuries remain unclear.
In addition to those reported missing, more than 200 others have been evacuated from the area, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
The landslide occurred in Jinping Village, Junlian County, Yibin City at around 11:50 a.m. local time. Yibin City has a population of more than 4.5 million.
Authorities in China also called on responders to quickly determine the cause of the landslide and whether there were any other geological hazards.
The country has declared the geological disaster a level 1 emergency - the highest warning level, Xinhua reported.
The government has deployed more than 400 rescue workers, along with 100 vehicles and 75 pieces of equipment to respond to the disaster.
Chinese President Xi Jinping called for "all possible efforts to search for and rescue the missing, minimize casualties and properly handle the aftermath".
