Monthly pension payment schedule 2024

Monthly pension payment schedule in 2024 is based on the provisions of Clause 4, Article 7 of the Issuance Procedure attached to Decision 166/QD-BHXH in 2019.

Accordingly, the organization pays monthly pensions and social insurance benefits to beneficiaries through the postal system according to signed contracts.

Payment at payment points from the 2nd to the 10th of the month, the payment organization will pay at least 6 hours/day at all payment points; payment will only end before the 10th for points that have paid all beneficiaries according to the list sent by the social insurance agency.

Payment at the district post office transaction points will take place from the 11th of the month, and continue to be made at the post office transaction points until the 25th of the month.

In conjunction with the provisions of Article 2 of the Issuance Procedure attached to Decision 166/QD-BHXH in 2019, the monthly pension payment schedule in 2024 will start from the 2nd of each month.

The specific pension payment schedule in each locality in 2024 will be decided by the provincial social insurance agency.

Previously, to facilitate pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries during the Lunar New Year 2024, Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) issued Document 5187/BĐVN-TCBC instructing provincial/municipal Post Offices to urgently pay the combined pension for January and February 2024 in two forms: receiving cash and via ATM account.

Payment will be applied to both forms of receiving money via ATM card and receiving cash at the Post Office.

Specifically, the Post Office will pay money via ATM account as soon as it receives the list and money from social insurance, no later than the next day.

Payment time at the points remains unchanged, the only difference is that the beneficiary will receive the benefits for both months in one payment period.

For pensioners, social insurance beneficiaries and recipients authorized by the beneficiary to receive on their behalf, they must bring documents as previously prescribed, such as payment cards and valid authorization letters.

Pension payment schedule in Hanoi

On December 15, 2023, Hanoi City Social Insurance issued Official Dispatch 6834/BHXH-KHTC on payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2024, with specific payment times as follows:

Payment via personal account: Transfer money from January 5, 2024 to January 9, 2024.

Payment in cash: Payment on January 5, 2024 and January 9, 2024 and received at payment points.

Pension payment schedule in Ho Chi Minh City

On December 18, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance issued Official Dispatch 7398/BHXH-KHTC on payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2024.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch 4210/BHXH-TCKT dated December 13, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announces the schedule for paying pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2024 in the same payment period of January 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City as follows:

Payment of pensions and social insurance benefits via personal accounts: Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will transfer pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2024 to beneficiaries' accounts starting from January 2, 2024 to January 3, 2024.

In addition, transfer of pension and additional social insurance benefits (for cases of retirement after the January 2024 payment period): On February 1, 2024 for cases where beneficiaries register their benefit records with the city's social insurance from December 23, 2023 to January 25, 2024.
