(To Quoc) - The Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2024, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, will take place from November 29 to December 1 at Thong Nhat Park. With the theme "Hanoi connecting five continents", the festival brings together a series of unique activities, creating a space for international cultural and culinary exchange.
At the press conference on November 25, the Organizing Committee said that the festival will take place over 3 days, from November 29 to December 1, at Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi).
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Do Dinh Hong - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi City emphasized: The festival has an important meaning in preserving and promoting culinary values, especially products of traditional craft villages, to spread, preserve and transmit culinary values and specialty products of each region and locality.
At the same time, the Festival also creates conditions for embassies of countries, localities, businesses, organizations and individuals to meet, exchange, display and promote products, discuss and sign business cooperation agreements...

Accordingly, the festival space is elaborately designed with more than 80 booths, operating continuously from 9am to 10pm every day.
The traditional food court will introduce special dishes such as: West Lake shrimp cake, Phu Do vermicelli, Uoc Le sausage, Lang Vong green rice, traditional Nem Phung, Quan Ganh sticky rice cake. Among them, Hanoi Pho - which has just been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage - is indispensable.
In particular, digital pho is the highlight of the program with the performance of smart robots in pho processing, from the stage of cooking the broth to arranging each hot bowl of pho, the robots bring precision and consistency in flavor, creating an experience that is both modern and close to tradition.
The international cuisine area is where visitors can enjoy a culinary journey across five continents. Each participating country will bring the most typical dishes and the most representative products of their country's cuisine.
Along with cuisine, the cultural and artistic space with photo exhibition introduces typical cultural, tourism and culinary works of Vietnam and the world.
The seminar on preserving and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage "Pho Hanoi", taking place at 9am on December 1, is also an opportunity for experts, artisans and culinary professionals to discuss the preservation and development of this typical dish of the capital, especially after pho was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
