Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 is a series of events to honor pho - a typical dish, carrying the quintessence of Vietnam's rice civilization. At the festival, many famous pho brands from Vietnam and some famous pho shops in Seoul (Korea) will serve Korean diners. It is expected that there will be about 80 pho stalls and other dishes in this festival. At the same time, the organizers will arrange exhibition spaces, cultural, tourism, economic experiences... such as the journey space of pho, pho and Vietnamese tourism; culinary art exchange; folk games... In particular, the organizers will also organize a business matching program, creating opportunities for businesses of the two countries to meet and connect economically, focusing on the fields of tourism, agricultural products, spices... It is expected that about 200 businesses will participate. At the press conference of Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 held in Ho Chi Minh City on July 29, Mr. Pham Huy Binh - Chairman of Saigontourist Group said that Korea is currently the leading international tourist market of Vietnam. This is also the country with a large number of Vietnamese expatriates living and working. The festival contributes to promoting the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine to the world. Thereby, creating a highlight to attract more Korean tourists to Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 is expected to bring Korean people, Vietnamese people living in Korea and international tourists the opportunity to explore the value, history and culinary culture of Vietnam through pho. At the same time, explore the special harmony of pho in culinary culture, friendship, art, tourism, economy, diplomacy... between the two countries. Previously, in 2023, the Vietnamese Pho Festival took place in Japan.
