Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, real name Nguyen Thi Vinh, was born on September 30, 1910. With the enthusiasm of youth, at the age of 16, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai overcame all obstacles of feudal etiquette, determined to embark on the thorny revolutionary path.
From 1926 to 1929, comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai participated in patriotic and revolutionary organizations such as Tan Viet Revolutionary Party, Indochina Communist Party, became a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam in charge of propaganda work, training party members and made important contributions to the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement.
In 1935, he was elected to the official delegation to attend the 7th Congress of the Communist International in Moscow. After the Congress, he was introduced to study at the Communist International's Soviet University of the Orient.

In 1937, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai returned to Vietnam and was assigned to work at the Southern Regional Party Committee and was appointed by the Party Central Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Saigon-Cho Lon City Party Committee. In July 1940, while preparing to launch an armed uprising with the Southern Regional Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai fell into enemy hands.
In the early morning of August 26, 1941, the French colonialists took comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai to be executed at Gieng Nuoc Hospital, now Hoc Mon District Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
