United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres sent a congratulatory message to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong, emphasizing that the UN highly appreciates Vietnam's role and contributions to common efforts in addressing global challenges.
Secretary-General Guterres expressed his belief that Vietnam will continue to cooperate with the UN to build a better, more peaceful and prosperous future.
His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua sent a congratulatory message to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong, and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.
Thai leaders highly appreciated the strategic partnership between the two countries over the past 10 years and expressed their joy at the strong development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in all important areas.

Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah sent congratulatory messages to President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.
In the telegrams, the Sultan of Brunei expressed his appreciation for the valuable relationship with Vietnam based on mutual trust and understanding, and believed that the Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries would continue to develop further for the common interests of the countries and peoples, as well as for the development of a dynamic and sustainable ASEAN Community.
